All of the titles deal with production and studio companies.  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The doll is prioritized as an important figure in the opening sequence. The movie begins with the camera panning out from the doll to show the whole scene.  What connotations do the images carry?  The image displays the critical role the doll will play throughout the film and the role it has played in previous films.   Midsommar Film Opening How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences of the film?  There are three titles displayed during the opening sequence.  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  There are no specific images prioritized in the opening sequence. That was very purposeful as A24 uses easter eggs to foreshadow the movie rather than normal foreshadowing. However, the main character Dani is prioritized in the opening sequence. It pans from her fighting with her boyfriend to call her boyfriend at dinner.  What connotations do the images carry?  The images in the opening sequence show the main character's lows. The beginning of the film is very dark; little lighting is used.
